Rationale for Activities:

Schools are social organisations responsible for creating contexts that promote the physical and psychological development of its students. Physical education activities strengthen students’ sense of self, ability to build and manage relationships, and help students acquire and develop movement skills through creative participation in a range of physical activities. Group activities help students to develop peer-acceptance, loyalty, group responsibility and discipline. The following activities support the development of fundamental motor skills whilst creating opportunity for students to participate in inventive team-building games and activities. Lessons are aligned to the Australian Curriculum Health and Physical Education curriculum.
